As with most Privacy Policies, they are full of mumbo-jumbo technical legal jargon that could put the most attentive reader to sleep. And, in order to protect ourselves, this one is no different. We have to do it. And we are sorry.

We recognise that your privacy is important and we are committed to protecting the personal information we collect from you. This Privacy Policy describes our commitment to you.

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Australian Privacy Principles and registered privacy codes (together, the Privacy Laws) govern the way in which we must manage your personal information. NBM complies with the Privacy Laws.

Credit card information

When you pay for your course or product, you will be taken to a secure page to enter your credit card details. We do not store those details unless we have told you at the checkout that we will. Our bank or PayPal process payments and they do not forward the credit card information to us.

The personal information that we collect and hold about you depends on your interaction with us. Your data will be collected, held and used by us per this Policy and the Privacy Laws. We may disclose or use your personal information for the purpose for which we collected it as well as for related purposes where you would reasonably expect us to do so.

  • providing you with information about other services that we offer that may be of interest to you;
  • contacting you if we need to;
  • responding to your inquiries and fulfilling your requests;
  • processing prizes;

Information collected through employment applications

In processing applications for employment, NBM receives resumes, references, certificates of education and qualification attainment and other personal information about candidates. We may also provide your application to a recruitment agency or contractor (an Agent) to review applications we receive.

Letters and resumes sent to us in response to an advertised position, or generally to ascertain whether any jobs are available, will be used to match applicants to available opportunities.

If we consider that your application may be suitable to our current requirements, we, or our Agent, will notify you and may also contact persons nominated by you as referees to ask questions about you.

If your application is not suitable for our current requirements, but we feel that there may be a position for you in the future, we may keep a record of your application and contact you again if a suitable position becomes available.

Please advise us if you prefer that we do not retain your information for this purpose.

Public areas

This site has public spaces such as for Blogs. Please remember that any information you share in these areas becomes public.

Do not post personal information. Under no circumstances should you post personal information such as email addresses, home addresses or phone numbers.

We also advise against posting full names of your children and other identifiable information, such as the name of their school. Publishing personal information could bring unwanted danger to you and others.

Don’t use this site to advertise your business

If you post comments about NBM products or services on our site, there is a chance we will publish them for editorial purposes or in promotional advertising and marketing materials.
